Liptovská Teplička is located in the preserved area of the Low Tatras. This area offers a lot of opportunities for relax but also for sport and out of doors recreation during the whole year.

You can use the ski-resort Smrečiny during the main season (from December to April), which offers ski lifts not only for the beginners but also for more experienced skiers (the longest ski lift is 980m long). The total track distance is 7 km. Other facilities, which you can find in the resort are ski equipment rental with ski repair service, food stands and a restaurant. Members of mountain brigade are keeping their eyes on safety of skiers. There is also a free car park in the immediate vicinity.
